Another Fine Audio Book From Holton House Audio

MAPLE GROVE, MN ...a delightfully read version of "How To Lose Weight With Green Tea." The production is nicely paced, with well chosen music that integrates chapter breaks and transitions. The readers, Scott Thomsen and Mary Ann Sullivan bring a refreshing "ying-yang" quality to the production. Their reading together is a pleasant blend and balance. If you'd like some sugar with your tea, you can't do better than this lovely audio book.

No Tears for "Geronimo's Bones"

ST. PAUL, MN This tragic story of poverty, abuse and family collapse, as told by a migrant child is heartbreaking, but the writing by Nasdiij is beautiful. The narrative pinballs between description of hard life in the fields, peaceful visits on the reservation with gentle Navajo grandparents, and hallucinatory conversations with the ghost of Geronimo. The reader, Alan Stone, deftly steers us through the contrasting squalor and grandeur of this toughly written book. His interpretation does justice to the writing, and reflects the intensity of the work.

Beautiful Jim Key

This is the meticulously documented true story of a small town horse trainer, a big city wheeler-dealer and the smartest horse that ever lived, as they toured America at the turn of the nineteenth century. A skilled read by Alan Stone.
